The Niger Delta Youth Congress (NDYC) has voiced its unwavering support for Dr. Bello Matawalle, the Minister of State for Defense, in the face of mounting criticism from detractors. In a strongly-worded statement, the Congress condemned attempts to undermine the Minister’s ingenuity and effectiveness, describing him as one of the most active and dedicated members of President Tinubu’s administration.
Lauding Matawalle’s tireless efforts in ensuring the nation’s security and prosperity, the NDYC highlighted the significant strides made in the defense sector under his leadership. The statement expressed regret over the actions of those seeking to derail the administration’s progress, accusing them of pursuing selfish interests at the expense of national unity.
“Minister Matawalle has proven himself a valuable asset to this administration,” the statement read. “His commitment to duty is exemplary, and we reject attempts by divisive elements to discredit his achievements.”
